The photos are all of food in a bowl but the color of the food is different from the food itself contrasting the background. The different photographers use different angles to give the food different shapes and to make it pop. The shape and style of the bowl are different to give the food depth and to make you focus on the subject.

In the studio portrait the photographer had control of the shadow and the lighting on the model. The outside photographer had to move to where the camera had the sun behind it.  The inside photo has a deep contrast to the outside photo used props to bring the photo alive.

This photo is trying to communicate strength and power. It shows this through the black and white filter that brings definition to the mussels of Arnold. He is also in a victorious stance by raising his arms like the referee does at the end of a UFC fight. The photographer focused on this idea by blacking out the background and making Arnold the main focus with a glow on his body.
